The day I felt the fear of death in my life

The tsunami that hit our country in 2004 killed a lot of people.  I was eight years old when the tsunami hit.  I can hear people screaming.  Because our house is a little further inland from the coastal area.  That was when I felt the fear of death in my heart.  I asked my mother if we were going to die.  Fortunately, the tsunami did not hit our home.  But it's sad for all those who died.  At that time a friend of mine from school also died due to the tsunami.
